Simple Soup & Tea

Done with the holidays? I hope so, and I hope you are done with splurging in the waist area as you think about doing something good for your body and mind as you contemplate the road ahead.

Make this year a productive and positive year by letting others benefit from your mere presence in their midst as they scrounge around for things to do or make them feel better, when all you have to do is access the Style Blog and you are on your way to better things rising above the chatter that is everyday life among the commoners. But oh well, at least when you go out in public, your public will look up to you while you avoid the pitfalls of the mundane and ugly, you know, people with no style. So, where to begin? How about some calming soup and tea?

Easy onion soup:
  • Boil bottled spring water in a large pot
  • Add a dash of iodized salt
  • Add about one cup each of fresh chopped carrots and golden onions
  • Boil for 15 minutes or more
  • Reduce heat and cover and let it simmer and steam for another 15 minutes
  • Remove from heat and pour into small bowls
  • Add Vegan shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Add raw unsalted cashew nuts

Of course, you can add other veggies, but the broth itself taste really good with only the ingredients listed above.

Tea? Well of course. Here's a list of good ones for your complexion and digestion:
  • Burdock root
  • Licorice
  • Mint Licorice
  • Ginger
  • Licorice & Ginger
  • Berry Detox
  • Sweet Rose

You can add a touch of powdered Wheat Grass to hot tea or water, or add it to a fruit smoothie for detox benefits and supposedly, to stop gray hair from growing on that gorgeous head of yours. Of course, plain hot boiling water with fresh squeezed lemon does wonders for your body and soul.

Here's to a Gorgeous New Year!
