Star Spotlight: Catherine Deneuve

I always liked Catherine Deneuve because her face always looked like it was never touched with a surgeon's scalpel, and looked like she only highlighted her hair and was lucky to have a perfect model figure and expressive face that I actually liked better in photographs than on film. But she is a good actress not only relying upon her good looks. She also did it right with aging gracefully. I see she did not obsess about keeping her slim figure yet she still looks good and natural. Catherine has had subtle work done on her face and she allowed herself to actually age, since no matter what a woman does or how many millions she spends, she still ages, and that facelift will still sag eventually. Here are a few photos to prove a point, if you have the money, do subtle eye and jawline lifts, the point is, not what you get done, but finding the perfect doctor that understands you don't want that pulled back harsh look that is stiff and and requires botox and fillers, I think you should avoid those, they eventually bag and sag and require even more surgeries. Go subtle, but the important thing is to spend time talking with doctors and getting a referral from someone who has had good work done. And, hopefully only once in your life will be all you need, and all you want.

Here are photos below for contrast. These women are much too young to have the full wig pasted around their hairline, the obvious facelift, fillers, nose jobs and harsh makeup will not stand the test of time. These ladies are headed back to their surgeons over and over again for the rest of their lives only to look much older than their ages. Don't let doctors trap you in a vortex of vanity, you cannot stop aging, don't be fooled, and don't let doctors make you think they can work miracles, they are not god even though they may argue the point, most just want what's in your wallet, and could care less that you might suffer permanent nerve damage, shifting fillers that pucker and bulge, and all sorts of nightmares.

Catherine managed to look good at any age, and always dresses stylish and looks polished keeping her hair color and makeup just about the same as when she was young, yet not over-doing it, allowing herself to age beautifully.

Too Many Birthdays?

Yes, maybe, but don't admit it to anyone, I don't care how much anyone compliments you on how great you look "for your age", gag, yeah, thanks a lot. Hey, celebrate life whenever and wherever you can, seek out the fun things to do and hang onto your dreams no matter how many birthdays you have survived to date. Some people have had limited birthdays as I am reminded of Marilyn Monroe and stumbled upon a few more pictures from her last photo shoot with Bert Stern. Marilyn had to be the most photographed star of all time, not sure if anyone can match her. She was 36 years old in these photos below and probably didn't know that she would have no more birthdays.

Don't stress out your animal by punishing it or trying to train it; they do not understand it, so simply shut the door. Problem solved.
